MBS Integrated Heating Solution The Armstrong MBS Integrated Heating Solution is a fully integrated commercial heating solution for medium sized applications [120 kW (409 MBH) to 320 kW (1091 MBH)]. It combines the functions of low NOx gas fired condensing boilers, intelligent variable speed circulating pumps, automatic fill/top up device, expansion vessel, water treatment dosing, PLC controls, piping, electrics and thermal insulation in modules which are easily manoeuvred and connected on site. Breezair Evaporative Cooler The Breezair unit is the most efficient, environmentally friendly and advanced evaporative cooler in the world today. K Type Valve The weighted key-shaped float of the Aylesbury K Type valve can be accurately set in a number of positions on the float arm, actuating the valve at a predetermined difference in water level, driving it fully open or fully closed without water hammer. This positive action avoids dribble, reduces noise and allows full flow until the selected level is reached.
KA & KAX Type Valve Identical in operation to the 'K' Type, the Aylesbury 'KA' & 'KAX' Type Valves have extended drops and are suitable for use in raised valve chambers. They are primarily designed to fit into chambers or boxes in the covers of cisterns calling for air gaps or where maximum cistern capacity is required. The 'KAX' is especially suitable for Type AA & AB air gaps where valve sizes greater than 1" are needed.
KB Type Valve Offers almost infinitely variable opening and closing water level settings. The versatility of the Aylesbury 'KB' Type makes it suitable for installation either direct into a tank or into a raised valve chamber. Changes in water levels and differentials can be made quickly by the installer or maintenance engineer without tools. This feature is particularly useful where building occupancy levels change either due to seasonal factors, or where the commissioning of a facility is phased, as it reduces the risk associated with excess water being stored for too long. The unique design makes this valve ideal for use with pumped systems, saving energy and wear by maximising full flow running time and preventing pump hunting. Also suitable for water treatment plants and many other applications.

Air / Dirt Removal All these devices generally consist of a pressure capable vessel that contains the necessary mechanisms to effectively condition the water, usually by mechanical means. In the case of the pressure step de-aerator, this is considered as an ‘electro-mechanical’ device, which can be additionally connected into the BMS.
Thermal Expansion Bellows The expansion joints generally consist of flexible stainless steel corrugated bellows membranes. These membranes can be constructed from different grades of stainless steel to provide optimum corrosion resistance to aggressive fluids. Various membrane wall thicknesses, coupled with one or more plies of material (single or multiply), and number / shape of corrugations enable expansion joints to be designed to almost any combination of working temperature, pressure and movement capability. National and international design codes are followed when expansion joints are designed.
Vibration and Noise Control The flexible connectors generally consist of flexible stainless steel corrugated membranes or of moulded reinforced rubber bellows. These membranes can be constructed from different grades of stainless steel to provide optimum corrosion resistance to aggressive fluids, or from different grades of synthetic rubber (elastomers). Secco System Due to the reduced construction height of 63 mm, System 70 secco underfloor heating has been especially designed for reconstruction and refurbishment and also for new buildings.
