Too Many Sales Reps
Too Little Time!
Today, everyone in the industry is expected to achieve more than ever before, in even less time than before. That’s why, when a company like Hurlstone and Partners offers to save key people significant amounts of time, they are always going to get favourable reaction.

Coming from a consulting and contracting background themselves, the Partners of Hurlstones and Partners, Ken O’Donoughue, David Tickle and Matt Tickle, recognise that it takes a significant amount of time and effort at the start of the project to liaise with a number of different sales engineering’s for different product ranges.
Hurlstone and Partners were formed by John Hurlstone, an experienced sales engineer himself, in 1966, to address this problem by offering a single point of contact for products from a number of different manufacturers, with the technical expertise to advise consultants on the best tool for every job.

Concentrating on the Heating and Air Conditioning industries and offering a range of diverse but complementary products from the very small to the very large, Hurlstone and Partners are effectively an outsourced sales force for products they represent and a very valuable source of technical information for contractors and consultants that use them.

The firm have offices in Bury, Nr Manchester and Birmingham. Their office in Bury, which covers the North of England and North Wales, is represented by Ken O’Donoughue, Paul Philips and Amanda Bromley. The Birmingham office which covers the East and West Midlands, South Western area of England, is represented by David Tickle, Matthew Tickle and Alex Tickle, all varying ages, recognising that as the industry moves on and younger people replace the older ones, it is important to have diversity of age and seniority.

Each representative concentrate on a specific product area which he therefore gets to know very well and can offer sound, unbiased advice to his clients. Both offices also employ additional follow up, clerical and administrative staff to support the business.
Hurlstones and Partners are always looking to identify new and innovative products in the field of Heating and Air Conditioning, particularly issues that concern us all at the moment.

They are therefore more than willing to receive details from manufactures of such products, as well was enquiries from contractors and consultants who recognise the significant time savings that can result from single point of contact during the specification stage.
